Dear Ms. Welker,

Blogging has been a very good opportunity. Blogging has taught me a lot about computers and it was very beneficial. It has helped me be more relaxed and my hands won’t hurt so much. It has been way more fun to blog than to do a home reading sheet. I love typing so this wasn’t boring.                                                             Well, blogging has also been a little hard. Once when I was blogging, I tried to publish and it deleted everything I did. I was so mad. Another thing is that you need to figure out all these keys and stuff. It can be difficult. If you don’t do the keys right you could end up not getting to do your homework.

So my thoughts about blogging are pretty good. I thought blogging was fun and that it would be nice to do it again. Also blogging has been the best way to do home reading to me. I really have been learning a lot and I can use my blog to post stuff about my summer vacation. Then you and other people from the class can see.  Although Blogging can be fun it is also very challenging and hard. So to conclude blogging is fun but hard and it is a good way for parents to see what we are doing.

                     Sincerely,

                     Ana I.

Penny from heaven The song #1

Dear Ms. Welker,

I’m reading Penny from Heaven by Jennifer L. Holm. I think this book is about a girl who is a very special gift to the parents. I think this because of the title. It makes me think that something is special.

My prediction was wrong! It wasn’t about a girl who is very special to the parents. It was about a girl named penny, which’s father died and her mom started dating the milkman. She thought her life was miserable.  I had trouble with a word when I read this.  The word is chrome. I read around and read on and inferred that it was like the rims of a car.  So Penny’s cousin Frankie says he wants to be criminal like his dad. I think that’s a bad idea. Also I had a question when I read.  Why did Frankie want to be a criminal? When I read around I found out that he thought it would be cool. That is a bad idea.  Penny’s mother didn’t tell penny that she was dating the milkman. Penny then saw her one-day in a lemon yellow strapless dress. She asked her where she was going. Then she said Mr. Mulligan asked her out. Also I had a question. My question is that why did penny’s mother didn’t tell her that she was dating the milkman?  It took me a while to find the answer to that question but I finally found it. The answer is that she was afraid that penny would get mad. I would be mad too if I was in that situation. So to conclude Penny is so miserable and she wishes it would be better.                                                                                                             Sincerely,

                                                            Ana I.

Royal Little princess#3

Dear Ms. Welker,
I am starting chapter 9 in my book. My prediction is that Molly’s old cat, Mr. Tibbs will escape from Leslie and Toby, and go to Molly. I think this because of the title of chapter 9. The title of chapter 9 is “Mr. Tibbs escapes again”. Also I had a question before I read. My question is that how did Mr. Tibbs escape? When I read, I found the answer to my question. The answer is that Mr. Tibbs escaped from an opening in Leslie’s attic. By the way, Leslie is the person who is looking for molly.
My prediction was right! Mr. Tibbs did escape and went to Molly. Molly was so sad because Ms. Thacker called her in to her office that day and, she showed her a lady that worked with foster care. She told her that she would have to go to foster care. When it was finished, she went up to her room and cried. She didn’t want to go to foster care and she wanted to stay with her friends. I also had a question. Why didn’t molly just ask her friends to ask their parents if she could stay with them? I read around and found out the answer. She didn’t want her friends to bring someone their parents didn’t know and, she didn’t want to barge in when they had problems of their own. I still can’t believe Ms. Thacker would do that. She is so mean! The day after Mr. Tibbs escaped, he found molly in the attic that she lived in. When molly saw Mr. Tibbs she was so glad to see him. Along the way I had trouble with the word terminated. I tried to read around and read on but I couldn’t find the answer so I went to answers.com and it meant to come to an end. Molly knew where he lived so she took him back. She didn’t know that where Mr. Tibbs lived was where Leslie lived. When she got there, she gave the cat back. She saw him play with the editing the machines. I had a question when I read this part. How does she know what editing machines are? When I read on I found out that the answer is her father worked with them. Leslie then figured out that she was the one she was looking for and that she found her. Ms. Thacker came over and she wanted to take her but she couldn’t. Then molly stayed with Leslie and that was the end of my book. So to conclude this book was really good and Molly got a happily ever after.
Sincerely,
Ana I.

Royal Little princess#2

Dear Ms Welker,

I’m reading a little princess by Gabrielle Charbonnet. I am on chapter 5 in my book. My prediction is that Molly is going to have a really bad day and that she is going to get so mad and she will start working harder. I think this, because of the title of the chapter that I am starting. The title of the chapter is “the worst day”.

In the last blog I said that Molly ran away, well in this blog it will be about after spring fling and what Ms. Thacker is going to do with Molly. Anyhow, my prediction was right! Molly did have a hard day. Molly looked so bad that people gave her money, because she looked homeless. I wish I could get money as quickly as Molly did. Also I had a thought. My thought is it was really nice of molly to give that homeless person with a baby that food. I had a question after this thought. My question is why did molly give the homeless person that food? When I read on, I found out that she felt sorry for that person and that she could eat dinner with her friends. I think that’s a smart thing to do. Also I had trouble with a word gritty. I read around and inferred that it meant like the stuff on your eyes when you wake up. That‘s really gross!!! The next day Molly’s room was remodeled. I had a question later on. My question was that who was this person doing this and, why are they doing it. When I read around, I found out it was these people who were looking for her. They didn’t know it was the girl they were looking for. The person who remodeled molly’s room gave her a gift certificate for gap. That’s a really nice thing to do. So to conclude I think molly might actually make it, because of all the stuff her secret friend gave her.
Sincerely
Ana I.
